This is a 4 color risograph print (pink, teal, medium blue, yellow) on cream paper of one of my paintings (a personal favorite) printed by Obsessed Press of Kingston NY. The border, featuring such imagery as an eel’s life cycle, a young jester emerging from a conch, and a sinister duck figurine, was drawn specifically to accompany and compliment the painting.

The colors were difficult to capture in a photograph so please note that the pinks in this print are much more beautifully bright and neon than this photo pictures them.

Due to their risograph nature, these prints are not perfectly uniform; each print is uniquely different. There may be subtle print artifacts and registration differences on your print. Registration refers to the alignment of ink layers. When the layers aren’t perfectly aligned (a nearly impossible task, especially with 4 color prints), the effect creates a slight “vibration” effect which I personally love!

Each 11 × 17 inch print is signed and numbered and is shipped through the USPS rolled up in a tube.
